The Pool
Having been a swim instructor for 20 years, teaching in many different environments, I understand the elements and characteristics of a lesson setting which will offer the best opportunity for success with my students. My swim school environment has been carefully set-up to reflect these elements and characteristics. These include:
A large pool for students to grow and be challenged in as they develop their skill levels.
A clean and heated pool. I maintain pool temperature in the high 80’s.
A private environment. I will be the only instructor in the pool, this allows for minimal distraction.
Wedding cake steps and a swim teaching platform. Both of these stations allow my students to gradually adapt to the pool and lesson environment.
A low wall for easy grabbing.
Use of diving toys to help assist my students in getting used to the water and then to be more challenged as they progress.
A strategically designed pool deck to assist my students with learning the skills associated with jumping into a pool.
The Park
My swim school is situated in a quiet neighborhood in West North Fork. As part of the swimming complex, I have developed a one acre park which features:
The park is set-up to offer my clients a place to stroll, sit and generally relax while your child is engaged in swim lessons.
